I am a Ph.D. student in physics at the University of Houston doing research in topological superconductivity with the guidance of Dr. Pavan Hosur. Born in Medina, Saudi Arabia, I grew up oscillating between Medina and Lucknow in India. I did my undergraduate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign majoring in Physics and Mathematics where I sampled research in various fields before finally settling down in condensed matter theory. Apart from physics, I am interested in writing and film-making.
